Notice of appointment

We hereby wish to announce the appointment of Mr. Marc-André Lavergne, P. Eng. as General Manager, Regional and Wasamac.

A mining engineer, he has demonstrated several qualities that make him the best person to fill this position within our organization. Since January 2021, Mr. Marc-André Lavergne has held the position of Director, Community and External Affairs at Yamana Gold. Mr. Marc-André Lavergne has also held various positions in various mining companies including Agnico Eagle Mines, Richmont Mines and Monarch Gold. Holder of a bachelor's degree in mining engineering, he has practiced his profession as a mining engineer in advanced development projects and operating mines.

Mr. Lavergne will continue to play an active role in developing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with government organizations and Indigenous communities.
