2024 Task force report

Agnico Eagle's Wasamac mining project team is pleased to present the third report of the Task Force. The mandate of the Task Force is to establish a space for dialogue and information sharing between Agnico Eagle, the neighborhood and the community. In order to encourage collaboration between the parties, these meetings are facilitated by a third party (Transfert Environnement et Société) who ensures equitable participation in the discussions while facilitating the exchange of different stakeholder viewpoints.

The year 2024 saw the Task Force bring to fruition a local project, the inauguration of Parc Lac-Hélène, and the implementation of the Voluntary Acquisition Program. It also highlights the Task Force's work by summarizing the 2024 meetings and its participation in the neighborhood meeting.

The Wasamac Mining Project team would like to thank its members for their involvement. Their collaboration is invaluable to the evolution of the project.
