The friendly transaction between Monarch Gold and Yamana Gold regarding the Wasamac mining property and the Camflo plant was concluded on January 21. Yamana Gold will soon resume its information and consultation activities regarding the Wasamac underground project under the guarantee that the commitments made by its predecessors will be respected and that the dialogue with the population will be maintained. There will be opportunities to get to know the team developing the project and learn more about the development itself. Yamana Gold is also pleased to announce that Marc-André Lavergne will continue his work with the Yamana Gold team as Manager of Community and External Affairs.
